Honing is by means of reciprocating movement of honing head and expansion of honing stone to do the material removal of ID or OD of workpiece in order to achieve the required accuracy and surface finish. Complete product line with corresponding mesh and size for different materials such as hardened or soft tool steel, alloy steel, stainless steel, cast iron, Inconel, ceramic, tungsten carbide, thermal spray coatings, cermet. Proprietary products are available for plateau honing, ceramic cylinders(SiC-Ni) and hypereutectic aluminum cylinders to achieve higher accuracy and finish requirements.
